№ 001 — Portland, Oregon
A specialty coffee bar & small-batch roastery. We roast every Thursday, brew slowly, and keep the lights low on purpose.
In a book, the verso is the left-hand page — the quiet one, the side nobody reads first. That's the coffee we make. Not the loudest cup in the city. The one you come back to. We buy from farms we can name, roast in batches small enough to ruin, and pull every shot like it's being graded.

Apricot, bergamot, black tea. The bright side of the page.
Brazil — Cerrado Mineiro, natural
Cacao nib, hazelnut, burnt caramel. The house cup. Our namesake.
Colombia — Huila, honey process
Red plum, panela, cola. Notes written in the margins.
Twelve seats, one long walnut bar, no laptops on weekends. Come read something. The wifi password is a poem and we change it when we get bored of it.
