The dimly lit espresso bar at Verso Coffee Roasters — copper pendant lights over a walnut counter and a matte black espresso machine

№ 001 — Portland, Oregon

The other side
of coffee.

A specialty coffee bar & small-batch roastery. We roast every Thursday, brew slowly, and keep the lights low on purpose.

№ 01 Manifesto

In a book, the verso is the left-hand page — the quiet one, the side nobody reads first. That's the coffee we make. Not the loudest cup in the city. The one you come back to. We buy from farms we can name, roast in batches small enough to ruin, and pull every shot like it's being graded.
